IRON BUTTERFLY-

                                               In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida

The 45 r.p.m., single-version of this song was perfect. Nobody knew that this 3-minute rock and roll hit had actually been edited from a 17-minute  version. As musically-expansive as this album-version was, however, it also,(unfortunetly), inspired untold amounts of indulgence from it's release-date, (1968), on up throughout the entire 1970's. And the group became dated shortly thereafter this hit-song. They also released a 19-minute live-version 2 years later, which was when they started to fade.
As far as clearing up any of the confusion as to the meaning of the title, you can sing along with the chorus, humming the words "In The Garden Of Eden", so's to realize the group's dilemna, (as far as any literal-translation might go). This tape-version is in true-stereo and is respectfully edited between tracks 3 & 4. The first 2 tracks represent the first-side of the album, with a slightly higher-volume in the left speaker. (A slight adjustment is needed).
There's an original carton-cover to protect this tape and it's photo-art, and though the tape-heads may need to be cleaned after every 2 or 3 tracks, it is a modern-day miracle that this orig.-60's tape, in good shape, still exists.
