JIMMY DEAN-

                                                                     I.O.U.

Wow, this was Jimmy Dean's only Gold-sausage, I mean record of the 1970's. Now, I know what you must be thinkin. How could anybody get mixed-up between the Jimmy Dean sausage in the supermarket and the Jimmy Dean of the #1 hit-song Big Bad John(1961)?  It's easy.  They were both one and the same.  No kidding.  People who sat down for breakfast, (w/toast, eggs & sausage), had every right to get confused. Especially if that song was on the radio at the same-time you was readin the ingredients of the sausage-label.
You didn't really need to read the label, though, since you knew you could trust any of the ingredients that mighta been in there, but you may have wanted to read the lyrics to the song I.O.U.(1976) that are included with this tape. A rather lengthy, heartfelt tribute to his mom, that is also a spoken-prose reading, but the first song on track 1, (I Gotta Sing My Song For You), also mentions how good the sausage-business had been for him and his kin and all that country-lovin just never stops gushin and blushin  throughout this whole tape...
At least, now I know where they got the idea for the name of that there Hollywood movie called  "Come Back To The 5 & Dime, Jimmy Dean  Jimmy Dean...
