WALTER/WENDY CARLOS-

                               SWITCHED-ON BACH   Walter Carlos

                             SWITCHED-ON BACH II-  Walter Carlos

                   SWITCHED-ON BRANDENBURGS   Wendy Carlos

Walter and Wendy Carlos were one and the very same classical musician. Just because the seperate-albums didn't tell you this doesn't mean that it isn't true. (Classical music fans probably know better), but I do not. Therefore, I am writing this out of complete and total ignorance. The rock-press never mentioned classical-composers so how could I have come to my conclusion? These 3 tapes, drop the clues, one by one...

...Walter becomes toast of classical-scene. 1968. Moog-synthesizer interpretations of Bach. Becomes switched-on and into the Top-10. Gold. Success. Time for a follow-up. 1973. Switched On Bach II. Didn't do. As well. Record-label said change hair-style. Walter said "Go To Hell", then later, "I'll give them a change". Still '73. Appears Wendy Carlos. Starts releasing albums.1975. More Wendy; No Walter. By 1980, Wendy has compilation  claiming virtuoso synthesizer performances. (Sound Familiar?). Is this husband and wife, or...husband or wife?  8-track history ends.

Now do you see my theory? Well, then switch-on these tapes and come up with your own.
